The staff members and the owner at Morris-Baker Funeral Home and Cremation Services are truly caring and compassionate individuals. The service they provided our family was beyond excellent. And that the company is locally owned and operated by people who are a part of our community was an important factor in our choosing them.

Following the rather sudden death of our mother, we very quickly needed to decide on a funeral home to receive her remains from the hospital. Of the two major funeral homes in the area, we decided on Morris-Baker, partly because of recommendations from our mother’s friends and also from Google reviews. During such a difficult and disorienting time, Morris-Baker’s staff guided us through the process with professionalism, empathy, and patience. We were particularly grateful that they respected our family’s wishes to avoid any religious symbols or language. Thank you for taking such excellent care of our mother and of our family. This is the way the business of end of life should be.

I know my decision in choosing a funeral home for my husband and me. It Morris-Baker. From the first day of meeting with Russ to the day of my dad’s funeral, it has been a stress free experience! Everyone who works there has been incredibly kind and helpful! They were accommodating answering any questions and quick to return phones calls. We could not have asked for better care and service from Morris-Baker Funeral Home during such a difficult time. Our Funeral Director, Dillon Wines was compassionate, kind, professional and attentive to every detail while honoring my mother with dignity and respect. He and other staff members made a heartbreaking process much easier to navigate and I will always be grateful. Any staff member we encountered at Morris-Baker were professional, helpful, kind and compassionate with our requests and questions. I highly recommend their services.

Planning a service for a loved one is difficult, but Russ at Morris Baker Funeral Home gently led me through all the decisions letting me make my own choices. His compassion was genuine and he helped and supported me throughout the entire process and afterwards.

Our family has used Morris Baker for many many years! That is why we just used them in the passing of our brother. Always very kind and professional. I would like to give a shout out to our funeral director Katie Johnson,it was our first time meeting her. You can tell immediately she is caring,sympathetic and listens to the family's concerns. Morris Baker is lucky to have her!

I will share my experience at Morris Baker by starting at the beginning. The first person I contacted was my funeral director Katie Johnson. Katie's help and care I think helped me the most with my loss of Linda. She did a great service for me from explaining the contracts and answering all of mine and the family's questions. It seemed she was always there by my side when I was greiving the hardest. She helped with the selections of the materials like the casket and vault and gave us as much time as needed to decide. I especially want to thank Katie for helping to select the funeral book and in providing many choices for the message in the funeral memorial card. We found one that was really nice. All the other staff at Morris Baker was helpful and all would take time just to listen and help me grieve. The only thing I wish they would do for other families in the future is to add a second book for people to sign. If they would put a second signature book on a stand on the right as you come in the chapel, I think that would help. I never found where the signature book was located to the left on a wall. I believe others could miss it also and some people may miss signing the signatur
